Chemically safe housing offered in Bend, Oregon

Seven-year old straw bale house.  Cement floors, in-floor heating.  Stucco walls, never painted.  No scents of any kind inside for last 3 /12 years.  Few, if any, before that.

In crowded neighborhood.  Not on major street, but close to the street it's on.  Houses packed in pretty tight.  Excellent access to extensive hiking and biking trails just 5 miles away (some even closer), cross-country and alpine skiing 20 miles away, world-class rock-climbing (Smith Rock) 25 miles away.  Bend is in Central Oregon's high desert, so mold is not an issue here.

$650/month.  Utilities run approximately $60/month in winter, much less in summer.  Small fenced yard, dog okay (no cats).

Offered as a sublet for six months (less is okay, but can't promise more right now--however, there's a better than 90% chance I won't need it back).  Available immediately.  I need to rent it ASAP because I'm paying double rent.  It's a really cool little house in one of Bend's most interesting and best-situated neighborhoods.  I'm really wanting it to go to someone who NEEDS it; it pretty much saved my life when I found it, and I'm hoping to pass it on to someone for whom it will do the same.  I couldn't advertise before now, because I had to make sure the place I moved to was really going to work for me.  I moved because my boyfriend and I wanted to live together and we both work from home; the place was too small for two to do that.)
